  82nd Annual Pony Penning

The Saltwater Cowboys can take off their boots and hang up their hats

for another year.  The remaining herd of Chincoteague Ponies have safely

completed the return swim back to Assateague Island. The photos below are

of the remaining mares & colts at the Carnival grounds late Friday afternoon.

One of the colts brought a record $17,500.00 at the auction. This will be a

great help to our Volunteer Fire Department who work so tirelessly for our island.
